Backup for fixed H₂ refuelling stations, fleet demos and as a network extender

The Pioneer Mobile Hydrogen Refuelling Station enables the rapid deployment of hydrogen powered vehicles. It is the steppingstone enabling the economic rapid deployment of the hydrogen ecosystem.

For many small fleets of hydrogen fuel vehicles, the mobile Pioneer will be the ongoing permanent hydrogen refuelling solution. However, after some time, some fleets will reach a scale where a fixed hydrogen refuelling infrastructure is justified. Utilising the Pioneer Mobile Hydrogen Refuelling Station (HRS) allows the Capex on a fixed station to be delayed until a high utilisation of hydrogen vehicles is possible.

At this point the mobile Pioneer HRS can continue to serve the station as a distribution asset with high pressure cascade built in, or it can simply be redeployed to serve another point of use and replaced by a conventional hydrogen tube trailer supply or on-site electrolyser.

The Pioneer Mobile Hydrogen Refuelling Station may also be used as a back-up to fixed hydrogen refuelling stations offering complete fills to 350 bar users, such as heavy-duty vehicles, and partial fills to 700 bar users, such as cars. The Pioneer 145 could be used to offer half pressure fill to a car like the Toyota Mirai nearly 100 times.
