The world’s largest mobility conference takes place in Munich this September (September 7 – 12). IAA Mobility brings together more than 1,000 exhibitors and speakers to present innovations and concepts for the future of mobility. With over 250 test vehicles, it will be the first event worldwide to offer visitors a comprehensive array of test drives of new vehicle models.
Working in Partnership with Westfalen Group, NanoSUN’s mobile Pioneer Hydrogen Refuelling Station will not only be on display but also play an important role in the event. Sited on the route between the exhibition ground and the inner-city open space displays, the Pioneer will have pride of place in front of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology for the entire duration of the event.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to see the innovative design of NanoSUN’s mobile Pioneer Hydrogen Refuelling Station (HRS), which operates using NanoSUN’s cascade technology to deliver fast vehicle refuelling without the need for an on-site compressor. With no need for a high-power electricity supply the Pioneer can be deployed and redeployed rapidly, offering a low-cost path to delivery of transportation grade fuel to the point of use, where it is directly dispensed into hydrogen powered vehicles - efficiently, safely and fast!
Ready for active duty, the Pioneer will be used to refuel hydrogen powered shuttle buses that will be used to ferry visitors between the event locations. With the capability to fully refuel a hydrogen city bus in around 15 minutes, the Pioneer will give the shuttle buses the ability to operate continuously during the event with no interruption in the operating schedule.
