An accomplished engineering leader, Andy’s expertise lies in leading and developing teams to understand customer needs, and then integrating their requirements across multiple engineering disciplines to deliver safe, high-performing and cutting-edge products. With a career focused on engineering design, development and assembly methods, where product safety and product delivery has been paramount, Andy has a strong history of delivering innovative projects in accordance with strict business plans and costs.

Holding a Masters’ Degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, Andy is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (CEng, MImechE). After spending 5 years working in motorsport, providing onboard electronics and analysis software support, ranging from British Touring cars, LeMans up to Formula 1, Andy worked at Dyson for 7 years, where he led the development of the Dyson DDM V4 motor. He has since been with Intelligent Energy, leading the engineering development of the IE 305 Telco power system and ultimately taking on the role of Head of Engineering, where he was responsible for the whole engineering team across all projects.

Andy joined NanoSUN in October 2021. He now leads our Operations Team in delivering NanoSUN’s portfolio of hydrogen refuelling solutions, whilst also working closely with our world-class Research & Development team to establish new applications for cutting-edge technology within the Industrial Gases and Transportation Industries.
