Hugh is an assured finance specialist, who brings considerable experience of senior operational finance roles within FMCG, manufacturing, wholesaling, and engineering sectors. Proficient in providing critical business and financial support across a wide range of fast growing and changing commercial environments, Hugh has consistently proved to deliver financial controls and reporting throughout a number of senior positions.

A Chartered Global Management Accountant and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK, Hugh also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies. Hugh spent the earlier part of his career with Unilever as a Commercial Manager, maintain P&L responsibility over the sales channels of a £80 million turnover business, before rising to Finance Director for Linpac Materials Handling UK. Thereafter Hugh has supported a number of SMEs with focus on start-ups, acquisitive growth and restructuring.

Hugh was appointed Finance Director at NanoSUN in July 2020, and now leads the NanoSUN Finance Team in managing and directing the financial status of the business, whilst providing guidance and support across the wider team to achieve the financial aspirations of NanoSUN’s fast-growing company.
