The Procurement Partnership Ltd, a private limited company offering a range of procurement solutions and services to the public sector, recently completed a tender through Public Contracts Scotland to deliver the DPS, under which NanoSUN’s mobile Pioneer Hydrogen Refuelling Station is available to public bodies across the UK. The DPS will provide contracting authorities in the United Kingdom with access to a range of market leading suppliers for hydrogen generation and infrastructure, in addition to an ongoing supply of hydrogen for the purpose of vehicle fuelling.
With 25 suppliers initially appointed, NanoSUN’s Pioneer will be available as a low-cost refuelling solution to a range of projects applicable to three of the five categories under the DPS: Hydrogen Generation and Fuelling Infrastructure, Supply of Hydrogen (for vehicle fuelling) and Supply of Hydrogen (for domestic and commercial purposes).
As part of the DPS objective to supply hydrogen for vehicle refuelling, NanoSUN’s mobile Pioneer Hydrogen Refuelling Stations will be made available to local authorities and the wider public to deliver hydrogen storage, distribution and on-site dispensing to support a low-cost, effective hydrogen infrastructure.
TPPL Managing Director, James Brennan, commented; ‘This new national hydrogen procurement solution forms part of TPPL’s wider focus on helping public sector bodies increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their air handling processes, enabling them to make sustainable improvements in their environmental impact’.
NanoSUN Commercial Director, Lee Juby, added; “The Pioneer’s capability to deliver cost-efficient, fast and easy to use hydrogen refuelling offers the optimum solution for refuelling all types of vehicles. Being a part of this framework will allow NanoSUN to showcase the Pioneer’s versatility in meeting specific refuelling requirements for various customers across a wide range of applications.”
