Charlie is a commercially focused sales professional with 10 years technical sales experience in delivering process automation solutions in a large, multinational corporation. Proficient in applying innovative solutions to challenging applications and seeking out commercial opportunities. Charlie holds a deep understanding of business development and account management to drive forward commercial strategies.

Having attained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Management, Charlie began a 10-year career with Emerson Automation Solutions as a Graduate Commercial Engineer; progressing to Project Engineer before moving to both Regional and National Account Management roles. During this time, she gained broad knowledge across Instrumentation, Process Control and Automation as well as developing strong business development and account management skills to negotiate multi-million-pound supply contracts.

Charlie now heads NanoSUN’s Commercial Department as Sales and Marketing Director, where she leads the team in driving hydrogen refuelling solutions to market. Passionate about developing and maintaining strong customer relationships centred on trust, she focuses on listening to customers and putting their needs at the forefront of everything we do.
